In partnership with Chippewas of Nawash, Bluewater Health, and the Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team—including North Lambton Community Health Centre, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, Twin Bridges Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic, Walpole Island First Nation, and Aamjiwnaang First Nation—MedLINCs offers Schulich first- and second-year medical students meaningful opportunities to engage with diverse communities.
Through the program, students gain valuable experience in rural and Indigenous healthcare settings while building relationships with community partners. Participants contribute to a range of activities, including leading engaging, health-focused programming at summer camps, supporting mobile clinics, and taking part in local cultural and community events.
