Lubell Funding Grant Application
Supporting Medical Learners in Rural and Remote Paediatric Rotations
Department of Paediatrics, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry
Program Overview
The Lubell Funding Grant is an initiative of the Department of Paediatrics at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, made possible through the generous support of Dr. Richard and Jan Lubell. This program reflects the Lubell's deep commitment to inspiring medical learners to pursue careers in general paediatrics within rural and remote community settings. It aims to reduce barriers to distributed learning opportunities and provide exposure to the breadth of general paediatrics outside of urban centers. The program aligns with national priorities of the Canadian Paediatric Society and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, both of which have identified community paediatrics as an area of critical societal need.
