May 24, 2017 Dr. Toni Zhong, Director of the University Health Network’s Breast Reconstruction Program, is a graduate of our Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residency program ('07) and daughter of the late Dr. Robert Zhong. Dr. Zhong travelled to Bangladesh with the German-based charity Women for Women and six other doctors to treat women and children disfigured by burns. May 08, 2017 Dr. John Denstedt, Professor, Division of Urology, spent a week in Haiti at St. Francis de Sales Hospital in the center of Port-au-Prince, one of several hospitals impacted by the magnitude seven earthquake in 2010. Invited by Project Haiti, a non-profit organization dedicated to medical care and education, Dr. Denstedt taught non-invasive surgical techniques to local surgeons and operated on 16 people in need of care.
