The 22nd Annual Oncology Research and Education Day will be held on Thursday June 18, 2026.

Dr. Peter J. H. Scott has been selected as the plenary speaker for the 2026 Oncology Research & Education Day.

Dr. Peter Scott is a Paul L. Carson PhD Collegiate Professor of Radiology, an Associate Chair-Basic Science Research, a Program Assistant, Cycloton Facility, Department of Radiology, a Professor of Pharmacology, Medical School and a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Scott's lab is developing new methods for radiolabeling bioactive molecules while designing and synthesizing new radiotracers for PET imaging of CNS disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. They are implementing new technology for radiochemistry and PET imaging, including automation, artificial intelligence and the internet of things. His lab is also developing cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) for the manufacturing of radiopharmaceutical.
