Reach One Touch One Ministries (ROTOM)

Reach One Touch One Ministries (ROTOM) is a Christian-based nonprofit founded in 2003 with the mission to empower older persons and children under their care, through the love of Jesus Christ, to attain a better life, regardless of their faith. ROTOM operates in both the Mukono and Rukiga districts, providing medical care and empowerment to over a thousand seniors. ROTOM operates through funding and donations, and it is operational in six countries, including Canada.
ROTOM serves older persons through facilitation of regular fellowships (support group meetings), home visitations, health care, counselling, nutrition education and provision of supplementary food for frail older persons, hygiene and sanitation education and inspection, training in simple agricultural technology activities, and more. ROTOM also operates a school for the grandchildren of the ROTOM seniors. Many seniors in Uganda are left to care for young children without the means to pay for school fees or food for the children. The ROTOM school is a center of Innovation, Excellence and Character development. The school focuses on nurturing children into leaders through teaching them the value of spiritual, emotional, health and social skills. ROTOM provides a warm and welcoming experience to all visitors. For more information about ROTOM and the programs they operate, please consult their website: https://reachone-touchone.org/ug
