Program Description

The primary purpose of the Schulich Dental Clinician-Scientist (DCS) program is to provide an opportunity for highly qualified students to prepare for academic careers in oral health research.

The DCS program consists of a PhD degree in an area of research relevant to dentistry followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. The program is directed towards highly motivated students whose career objective is to become productive clinician-scientists in dental research or academic dentistry.

This is a joint-degree program (PhD/DDS).
