Emergency Clinic
We accept patients who are experiencing dental pain. Our services are provided by dental students under the supervision of licensed dentists. Our fees are generally 60% of the amount of a private dentist. We also accept the CDCP. Please call 519-661-3331 to schedule an appointment.
December 1, 2025: The availability of our clinics depends on student schedules. At this time, our students are writing exams, and we are unable to offer emergency services. Regular services will resume on January 6, 2026. You may still call us to schedule an appointment for the new year. Please note that we are closed from December 22, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. and will re-open on January 5, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
If you are an adult patient of record and are experiencing a dental emergency such as dental trauma, extreme dental pain, swelling in your mouth, neck or face that is getting worse, if you have a fever or are feeling generally unwell and you suspect it is because of your dental situation, please reach out to your dental student directly.
If you are a patient of record and are not assigned to a dental student yet or you are unable to reach your dental student, please contact the University Hospital Dental Clinic at 519-663-3451 and follow their instructions. Or proceed to your nearest Hospital Emergency Room.
All others experiencing pain who are not patients at Schulich Dentistry, please contact a community dentist, visit your nearest emergency room, or you may reach us when we reopen in the new year.
Visit the nearest emergency room if you are experiencing swelling in your mouth, neck or face that is getting worse or if you have a fever and you suspect it is because of your dental situation, we recommend you visit your nearest emergency room.

The Emergency Dental Clinic is located on the ground floor of the Dental Science Building.
