There is an awards luncheon for graduates and up to two members of their family/friends, which will be held prior to the convocation ceremony, at the Great Hall, Somerville House. The luncheon will run from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Seperate tickets are available for the luncheon and must be picked up at the Office of the Director, DSB 1003. Additional adult guest tickets are $25 each.
Guests should park at the South Valley Parking Lot (see map here) and follow the path up the stairs to Alumni Hall. Parking will be free of charge on a first-come first-served basis. Attending graduates will have their portraits taken at Convocation, and Western will provide each a 5x7 photograph free of charge after the ceremony. Students are required to pre-register online here where they can select their ceremony date and time.
Students who did not pre-register should visit the Photography/DVD page for details on how to obtain their free photo.
Students can pre-order their 2016 Spring Convocation DVD on the Convocation website, or order DVDs from prior years.
For more information, see the Photography/DVD page.
* A photographer will be on site at the Awards Ceremony at the Great Hall. Pictures taken at the Great Hall will be emailed to students who are in the pictures.
