Exercise #2: Public Communication Essay
Purpose and skills being developed: This exercise is intended to help develop scientific writing skills suitable for public communication, within the student’s area of interest. A secondary goal is to develop some breadth and depth of knowledge within their area of study.Examples include (but are not limited to) an article tailored for the Dorsal Column, or a journal club article for the Journal of Neuroscience related to a recently published article (within 2 months of publication). Submission of the article is not required to fulfill this exercise.
