Distributed Education
Clinical experiences in a community setting with the Distributed Education introduce medical students to authentic clinical opportunities that compliment much of their in-class training. Within the community setting, students observe the full spectrum of interdisciplinary care provided to patients across the life span. They are introduced to providers who may also live in the community within which they work. This provides a rich experience of immersion as providers share their experiences of living and working in their community.
