Elgin-Middlesex Academy
The Elgin-Middlesex Academy consists of Elgin County with a population of over 49,000 and Middlesex County with a population of over 70,000. As a community training site, the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) participates in Distributed Education, providing educational opportunities for medical students and residents. Other community training sites in Elgin-Middlesex Academy include Ailsa Craig, Aylmer, Granton, Ilderton, Lucan, Mt. Brydges, Muncee, Newbury, Parkill, Strathroy, Thorndale, and West Lorne.
