Biography

My research interests arise from my passion for quality dental education and quality patient care. I developed new preclinical curriculum in removable partial denture (RPD) prosthodontics at Schulich Dentistry to help prepare students to provide quality dental care for their patients. Feedback is provided according to the RPD rubric I developed prior to joining Schulich Dentistry. I am currently exploring the application of mindfulness to develop student feedback literacy as a co-lead of an interdisciplinary research team. Patient care is optimized through interprofessional collaboration; therefore, I have developed and contributed to research on interprofessional education. I am also involved in research on biomarkers and patient-reported outcomes.
