Biography
Dr. Sandhu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.
After obtaining her medical degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, Dr. Sandhu joined the University of Ottawa where she did her Anesthesia residency. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesia at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
Dr. Sandhu also holds a diploma in patient safety and quality improvement (QI) from the Telfer School of Management. Her goal is to work on patient safety and QI in the pediatric anesthesia field.
Additional interests include regional anesthesia and acute and chronic pain management.
