Dr. Hussein Sadkhan

Biography
Dr. Hussein Sadkhan completed his medical school from Iraq at Al Mustansiriyiah University and became a certified anesthesiologist in Iraq in 2005 after four-year anesthesia residency training. In 2011, he received a postgraduate diploma in regional anesthesia and analgesia from Montpellier University, France. He has over 10 years of anesthesia experience.
During the last three years, Dr. Sadkhan has been a clinical fellow at the department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University. He did one-year fellowship in transplant anesthesia and two years in acute pain.
Dr. Sadkhan’s research interests include procedure-specific pain management and anesthesia quality improvement. He presented many research posters at na-tional and international conferences. Currently, he is going to undertake a Master's degree in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
