Dr. Roy Khalaf is an Assistant Professor in the department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.

After completing his medical school and residency training at Western, Dr. Khalaf pursued a Fellowship in Simulation Based Medical Education at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine, in conjunction with KidSIM, their pediatric multidisciplinary simulation centre.

Dr. Khalaf has a strong interest in medical education, and plans to build on the department’s tradition of leadership in simulation at the London Health Sciences Centre. He hopes to introduce Just-in-Time simulations, continue to expand in-situ simulations into the many areas where Anesthesia care is provided, and encourage multidisciplinary participation in simulation.
