Dr. Vanessa Fantillo

Associate Professor

Biography

Dr. Vanessa Fantillo completed medical school at the University of Saskatchewan in 2005 and Anesthesia residency at Western University in 2010. Following residency, she completed two clinical fellowships; one in Paediatric Critical Care at UWO and another in Paediatric Anesthesia at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Dr. Fantillo has contributed to many educational initiatives of the Department; she is the past Chair of the Evaluation committee of Postgraduate Education and is a current Royal College Examiner, and has been since 2019. 

Dr. Fantillo has also been an external representative of the Department by both presenting at National and International Anesthesia conferences and also as the Past President of the Professional Staff Organization at London Health Sciences Centre. Other research endeavours include: COst analysis and patient satisfaction in MPR as well as VR in pediatric neurosurgery patients.
