Dr. Melissa Chin

Biography

Dr. Melissa Chin completed medical school at McMaster University then joined the Anesthesiology Residency Program at Western University. After successful completion, she then went on to complete a one year Fellowship in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at Yale University under the supervision of Dr. Robert Lagasse. She is also concurrently in the process of achieving her Master's in Health Sciences at Yale University with a focus on the assessment of clinical competence in anesthesiology.

Her research interests include the use of simulation in assessment, the use of peer review in anesthesia quality improvement, and quality improvement in anesthesia resident education.
