Dr. Ki Jinn Chin

Ki Jinn Chin, MBBS (Hons), MMed, FANZCA, FRCPC, is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Toronto and is also the Regional Anesthesia Program Director at Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, Canada. He graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, U.K., completed anesthesiology training in Singapore, and is dual fellowship certified in neurasthenia (University of Western Ontario) and regional anesthesia (Toronto Western Hospital). He is a well-published and internationally recognized expert in the use of regional anesthesia to improve patient care and outcomes. The focus of his academic work includes (1) ultrasound-guided fascial plane blocks, especially the erector spinae plane (ESP) block, (2) central neuraxial blocks, and (3) education in the technical skills required for regional anesthesia.
