Faculty Development

Several departmentally sponsored faculty development workshops were offered this year including:

  • "Acuity Star Training" (November 5, 2015)
  • "How to Get Promoted - A Workshop for Clinical Academics" (September 17, 2015).

Both workshops were sponsored by the Academic Affairs Committee and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry CPD Office. 

The Perioperative Ultrasound Western Workshop made its annual debut this year, and was focused on transthoracic echocardiography and point-of-care lung and pleural ultrasound imaging.
