McMaster-Western Resident Research Day 2014: Winners, thanks and highlights

Tuesday, June 3, 2014

McMaster-Western Resident Research Day was held on Friday, May 30th, and hosted by Western’s Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at St. Joseph’s Health Care London. The day’s schedule was full of fantastic presentations from McMaster and Western Anesthesia Residents, all of whom have our commendation for their innovative research! Needless to say, the research presented prompted some excellent discussion and direction for future initiatives.

Dr. Philip Jones, Associate Professor with the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Western, delivered the guest lecture, “Openness” in Research.

This engaging lecture elicited a lively discussion, which complimented the overall learning objectives of the day. The McMaster and Western Anesthesia Residency Programs would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Jones for his presentation!
