Best of Meeting Award at SNACC

Congratulations to members of our Neuroanesthesia team for their study, Goal-directed therapy in endovascular coiling of aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage patients - A pilot, prospective, blinded, parallel design, randomized controlled study. This abstract recently was awarded the Top Clinical Abstract submitted to the SNACC 47th Annual Meeting and was awarded the Best of Meeting Award this year.

The team includes faculty members Drs. Jason Chui, Rosemary Craen and Ian Herrick, and former neuroanesthesia fellows Drs. Christine Dy-Valdez and Rizq Alamri. Also on the team are Dr. Mel Boulton from the Department of Clinical Neurological Science and Dr. Sachin Pandey from the Department of Radiology.

This study was funded by the Department Internal Research Fund in 2015 and reflects that our IRF supports junior investigators in conducting studies such as this one.
