Congratulations to Dr. Sayra Cristancho, KIPRIME Fellow 2023

cristancho.jpgCongratulations to Dr. Sayra M. Cristancho S., PhD, Associate Professor, Dept. of Surgery and Faculty of Education Scientist, Centre for Education Research & Innovation (CERI), who has been selected as a KIPRIME fellow.

Every other year the Karolinska Institute (KI) in Sweden selects a group of 14 medical education scientists from across the world who have the potential to receive this award in the future. These individuals are brought to Stockholm in Sweden for a week of training and media engagement. This training took place in August and Dr. Cristancho was one of two Canadians selected this year.

The KIPRIME Fellows aims to nourish the next generation of Karolinska Institutet Prize for Research in Medical Education winners by offering an inspirational curriculum of mentoring and development activities.
