Dr. Dave Nagpal (Associate Professor, Division of Cardiac Surgery), and
Dr. Alp Sener (Professor, Division of Urology) were awarded funding for their research project,
Protecting Heart Grafts from Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury with Sodium Thiosulfate Supplemented Solution in Heart Transplantation, from the Multi Organ Transplant Program's (MOTP) 2025 Transplant Research Grant competition.
