Windsor Campus

Housing accommodation is offered for Schulich Medicine trainees completing rotations in Windsor. Accommodations are located at:

Medical Arts Building
1011 Ouellette Avenue
Windsor, Ontario

Family Unit Accommodation
Two units designated for the use of a family requiring accommodation in Windsor. Each family unit has two bedrooms with two queen beds, a full kitchen, two full private baths and a living area. The use of these units shall be subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to fire regulations a maximum of six people (family) will be eligible to stay in the unit.

Single Unit Accommodation
Twenty-one single units designated for the use of a single learner requiring accommodations in Windsor. Each unit has one queen size bed, a mini fridge and microwave, a private bath with shower, desk, and television. The use of these units shall be subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to fire regulations a maximum of 2 people will be eligible to stay in the unit.

Distributed Education

Accommodation may be provided in an apartment or house, or in someone's home as a 'bed and breakfast' arrangement, located in close proximity to the community hospitals. Food is not typically provided, unless available through the bed and breakfast arrangement. Internet with high-speed connectivity will be accessible.

Please complete the Learner Accommodation Request form. Accommodation requests must be submitted at least ninety (90) days prior to the commencement of your community rotation to ensure availability.

Western University does not offer dedicated housing accommodations. Resources to pursue include the Western University Off-Campus Housing Services website, as well as MedsHousing, which is not affiliated with the University but offers listings specifically designed for the medical community.
