Dr. Robert Stein develops comprehensive, proactive strategies to address undergraduate learners’ wellness concerns and needs, early and effectively. This includes developing a curriculum of workshops to proactively promote wellness. He is also available to meet with students individually to assist with identified challenges, and develops effective management plans to support their learning.
Dr. Stein is an Associate Professor in Paediatrics at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and the Division Head of Paediatric Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre. Previously, Dr. Stein coordinated the Endocrinology and Metabolism course at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and held the Chair of the Clerkship and Electives Committee, which oversees all activities of the Years 3 and 4 curriculum.
He also serves as Medical Director for Camp Discovery (CDA), a summer camp for children with type 1 diabetes, and was a recipient of the Regional Camp Award from the Canadian Diabetes Association in 2012.
