Let's Talk About Mental Health

Sometimes it is difficult to talk about mental illness…sometimes particularly so for those working and training in the health professions, who feel that others expect them to have it all “together”. Today is recognized as Bell Let’s Talk Day, a day where the focus is on making conversations around mental health easier.

Want to help end the stigma but are not sure how?

• Consider using your social media to send a message to those in your circle to let them know that you are available if they need to talk. https://letstalk.bell.ca/en/. Using the Bell tools will also help to raise funds for further mental health initiatives.
• Reach out to those you are concerned about...and even those you are not. Sometimes the people who appear “strongest” really need someone to check in with them too
