Award: Dr. Kevin Pottie receives the 2021 Family Medicine Researcher of the Year Award.
“The Family Medicine Researcher of the Year Award recognizes a College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) member who has made original contributions to research and knowledge building in family medicine in Canada. This award honours a researcher who has been a pivotal force in the definition, development, and dissemination of concepts central to the discipline of family medicine”. Dr. Pottie received this prestigious award at Family Medicine Forum on November 10, 2021, and made a presentation entitled: “Accessible Trustworthy Health Recommendations for All”. Dr. Pottie holds the Dr. Ian McWhinney Chair of Family Medicine Studies.
