Clinical Skills Day

107 Schulich Medicine undergraduate students took part in this year’s annual Clinical Skills Day at the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine on Saturday, February 4. The day was organized by the Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) co-chairs Jorge Georgakopoulos, Leah Sinai, and Yashoda Valliere and executive, and was successful in part because of the 12 family physicians who volunteered their time to run hands-on workshops throughout the day.

The FMIG co-chairs would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the physicians from the Department who led workshops for the first and second year students. Some of the workshops included: IV administration, well baby care, lumps and bumps, and treating depression.
