Inaugural Dr. Ian McWhinney Lecture Series a resounding success
The Department of Family Medicine celebrated Dr. Ian McWhinney – the founding father of family medicine in Canada – with the inaugural lecture series in September.
Dr. Michael Kidd, President of WONCA, delivered an inspirational and thought provoking lecture about global family medicine and the importance of being different.
And in honour of a pioneer of family medicine, Dr. Stephen Wetmore announced the naming of the Dr. Ian McWhinney Lecture Hall.
