Palliative Care Grand Rounds - Palliative Care and Critical Limb Ischemia
Join us for Palliative Care Grand Rounds on Wednesday, December 13, to be held via ZOOM from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Jordan Berry, MD, PGY3 Palliative Care, will present, "Palliative Care and Critical Limb Ischemia."
Session Learning Objectives:
- Review pathophysiology of critical limb ischemia.
- Discuss current landscape of palliative care involvement in this patient population.
- Review management of pain and other common symptoms in critical limb ischemia.

Overall Learning Objectives for 2023-2024 Palliative Care Grand Rounds:
By the end of this program, participants w ill be able to:
- Identify barriers and trends in palliative care and their impact on patient care.
- Apply pertinent and relevant palliative medicine know ledge and guidelines to their practice.
- Discuss the challenges of providing palliative care w ith other primary care physicians, medical trainees, and allied health professionals throughout Southw estern Ontario.
Supported by the Department of Family Medicine of London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London and the Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Program.
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Continuing Professional Dev elopment, Schulich School of
Medicine & Dentistry, Western Univ ersity for up to 10.0 Mainpro+ credits.
The 2023-2024Palliative Care Grand Rounds is a self-approv ed group learning activ ity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent participating in the educational program.
