Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
- Understand the cognitive changes that can be associated with serious mental illness in older adults.
- Review the relationships between SMI and dementia.
- Discuss some considerations related to SMI and dementia in long-term care settings. NOTE: 25% of the session is to be devoted to audience participation
