Geriatric Interdisciplinary Grand Rounds – Alzheimer’s Disease: Disease Modifying Treatments in Current Randomized Controlled Trials
Join us on Thursday, November 18, for Geriatric Interdisciplinary Grand Rounds to be held via WebEx from 8:00-9:00 a.m. Dr. Michael Borrie, will present, "Alzheimer’s Disease: Disease Modifying Treatments in Current Randomized Controlled Trials".
Objectives:
- Understand the amyloid hypothesis and rationale for Alzheimer’s disease modifying treatments (DMTs)
- Review the early phase data supporting the current drugs in phase 2 and phase 3 trials
- Be aware of the inclusion/exclusion criteria, potential side effects, and cautions about the eligibility of participants considering DMTs
- Addressing the hardest part of clinical research: Recruitment
