At the conclusion of these Grand Rounds, participants will be able to
- Comprehend ongoing research related to COVID-19;
- Discuss the family physicians’ roles during the different stages of a pandemic; and
- Discuss different policies needed to support family physicians’ roles during a pandemic.
Presentation Two: Family Physicians and Virtual Care during COVID-19
Presenter: Bridget Ryan, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of these Grand Rounds, participants will be able to
- Describe the magnitude of the move to virtual care by family physicians in London and Middlesex County;
- Describe the family physicians’ experiences of moving to virtual care; and
- Discuss the path forward for virtual care as part of the overall family practice post-pandemic.
