Family Medicine Grand Rounds – COVID-19 Update for Primary Care

Join us on Wednesday, September 8 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. for Family Medicine Grand Rounds to be held via ZOOM meeting. Dr. Michael Payne and Dr. Alex Summers, will present, "COVID-19 Update for Primary Care".

Learning Objectives: 

The general principal learning objectives for the overall Grand Rounds in Family Medicine program are:
1. To transmit pertinent and relevant clinical practice knowledge and guidelines to primary care physicians including
a forum for discussion and critical appraisal;
2. Identify and discuss current evidence supporting treatment of common conditions in primary care; and
3. Discuss challenges family medicine physicians face in their current practices.

Session Learning Objectives: 

At the conclusion of these Grand Rounds, participants will be able to
1. Comprehend the current epidemiology of COVID-19/Variants of Concern;
2. Comprehend COVID-19 vaccines along with update of MLHU vaccination program; and
3. Comprehend projections and preparedness for Wave 4 of COVID-19 along with return of seasonal respiratory
viruses.
