Family Medicine Grand Rounds – Point of Care Ultrasound in Clinic-Based Family Medicine

Dr. Craig Olmstead, PGY3 Academic Family Medicine resident, will present, Point of Care Ultrasound in Clinic-Based Family MedicineAn electronic appointment containing the ZOOM link has been sent to your calendar.

Learning Objectives: 

At the conclusion of these Grand Rounds, participants will:

  1. Comprehend the basics of ultrasound and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS);
  2. Identify basic POCUS techniques of potential clinical value in the non-urgent, ambulatory setting; and
  3. Comprehend the reasons for considering the adoption of POCUS in clinic-based family medicine at the present time.
