Primary Care Obstetrics Grand Rounds – Obesity in Pregnancy: Practical tips from the MY clinic

The Citywide Family Medicine Obstetrics Group and the London Area Midwives invite you to join them for their Primary Care Obstetrics Grand Rounds on Thursday, November 8 at 7:30 a.m. at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital in Room E3-013.

Dr. Barbra de Vrijer will present, Obesity in Pregnancy: Practical tips from the MY clinic.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review approaches to perinatal care involving women with obesity.
  2. Discuss risks associated with obesity in pregnancy.
  3. Recognize the role of trauma-informed practice with obesity.
  4. Develop an approach for birth in women with BMI>4

 

25% interaction will be included in each Round.

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Continuing Professional Development, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University for up to 1.0 Mainpro+ credits.
