Faculty Development: Teacher Series - Faculty Advising - Our Roles as Coaches and Mentors
Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m., in Room 1150 of the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine, as Drs. Christina Cookson and Jamie Wickett lead this session in the Teacher Series – Faculty Advising - Our Roles as Coaches and Mentors. Learners will describe roles of coaches and mentors in medicine and contrast them, review accreditation standards for faculty advising and how this relates to coaching and mentoring, and explore how clinical preceptors in family medicine can fulfill the roles of coaches and mentors using the new Periodic Review Form.
