Dr. Gerald Brock graduated medical school in 1986 from McGill University, did his Urology residency training also at McGill University, followed by fellowship at the University of California in San Francisco, and started his Urology career at McGill University in 1993. Dr. Brock became the first Andrologist when he joined the Urology team at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in 1998 with a cross-appointment with Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2000. Dr. Brock retired from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2021 but remains on staff within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and serves as the Medical Director for the Advanced Medical Group in London, ON.
Dr. Brock ran a basic and clinical research program at Western University for more than two decades, during which he was awarded more than 20 international research prizes. He was the Fellowship Director for more than a dozen research fellows from Asia, Australia, Latin America and North America. Dr. Brock has published more than 250 peer-reviewed scientific articles and holds an H-index of 67 and more than 14,000 citations. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, in 2020.
