Training Sites
Children's Hospital/LHSC (CH)- London Health Science Centre - The paediatric emergency department at CH has over 37,000 visits per year and serves as the regional paediatric trauma centre and as the only tertiary paediatric referral centre for a population in excess of 2 million. There are 58 paediatric in-patient beds, a 42-bed tertiary-level Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a 13-bed paediatric critical care unit.
London Health Science Centre (LHSC) – Adult Emergency and Trauma rotations are completed within LHSC. LHSC serves as the designated Lead Trauma Hospital (LTH) for the Southwestern LHIN.
Ontario Poison Centre or NY Poison Centre – Toxicology rotation may be completed at either site.
