Application Process
CMG/IMG trainees
Canadian Medical Graduates or International Medical Graduates currently training in an accredited Canadian or American Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine training program should apply through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CARMS). Electives
Residents or fellows seeking elective opportunities should contact our Program Administrator to discuss availability. Please reach out and come see what we have to offer in person.
Internationally Sponsored Residents/Fellows
We have trained many internationally sponsored fellows who have gone on to become PEM leaders in their countries. We will potentially consider international trainees who are not eligible for the CARMS match only after completion of the CARMS match. We do not offer funding for international trainees, so you must have a sponsoring institution or agency to be considered. We only consider applications if we have capacity after the Canadian match, as such there is no guarantee that we will routinely offer spots.
