Dr. Jarrar’s practice compromises a mix of general paediatrics, paediatric benign hematology, paediatric oncology (limited), adolescent & young adult oncology. It involves time in my private office, hospital outpatient & inpatient paediatrics and at the cancer center. So if a resident will join me for an elective, it depends on the month. Roughly, I will have one week at the hospital peds covering either inpatient or outpatient. The three remaining weeks will be between the office (3 days/wk) and the cancer centre (2 days/wk). The office practice includes primary care, consults, follow ups and sick visits. 70-80% of the office visits are general pets and 20-30% are hematology.
