Jason Meadows, MD, Chief Quality Officer, Windsor Regional Hospital will present, "Tales from the Front Lines: Leading Quality Improvement in Palliative Care."

- Grasp the basics of quality improvement and its transformative role in palliative care.
- Highlight quality improvement as a unique academic and leadership avenue for palliative care professionals.
- Provide practical steps and guidance for initiating quality improvement projects in palliative care settings.

- Identify barriers and trends in palliative care and their impact on patient care.
- Apply pertinent and relevant palliative medicine know ledge and guidelines to their practice.
- Discuss the challenges of providing palliative care w ith other primary care physicians, medical trainees, and allied health professionals throughout Southw estern Ontario.
