Dr. Debra Bartley appointed Associate Director of Surgical Education – UGE
Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Surgery, this is a key leadership role to oversee undergraduate education activities in the Department. Dr. Bartley completed medical school at the University of Toronto and an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Manitoba. Upon completing her residency training, she received further training in paediatric orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine through fellowships at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre and the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. She joined the Department of Surgery as an Assistant Professor in 2006, and was promoted to Associate Professor in July 2015.
