PSI Foundation and NSERC of Canada announce competition results

Dr. Hassan Razvi, Division of Urology, and Dr. Philippe Violette, Endourology Clinical Fellow, have received funding from the Physicians' Services Incorporated (PSI) Foundation for their research application, "A randomized controlled trial assessing the efficacy of antimicrobial prophylaxis for extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy on reducing urinary tract infection."

Dr. James Johnson, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, has received funding from Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada toward his research application, "Novel Mechanical Systems to Perform Biomechanical Assessments of the Shoulder."

Dr. Louis Ferreira, Division of Othopaedic Surgery, has also received funding from NSERC toward his project, "Development of Biomechanical Feedback Devices and Robot-Assisted Technologies for Orthopaedic Applications."
