Dr. Brent Lanting Appointed as the Inaugural Wolfe Chair
The Department of Surgery is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Brent Lanting (Professor, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery) as the inaugural Wolfe Chair in Orthopaedic Research and Innovation at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry effective March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2031.
As inaugural Wolfe Chair, Dr. Lanting will help advance orthopaedic research and innovation at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, building on Western’s longstanding leadership in musculoskeletal care and surgical science.
