Dr. Emil Schemitsch Receives Schulich Award of Excellence
Each year, Schulich's Awards of Excellence shine a light on the people who move the School forward in meaningful ways. Through leadership, curiosity and a deep commitment to improving health, this year’s London Campus recipients are advancing education, research and care – strengthening our community and shaping how we make an impact. This year, Dr. Emil Schemitsch (Professor, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and Chair/Head, Department of Surgery) was awarded the Schulich Distinguished Researcher Award. The Schulich Distinguished Researcher Award recognizes and honours a senior faculty member who has had an exceptional career in research, leadership, and service. As one of Schulich’s most prestigious awards, this award celebrates individuals whose contributions have significantly advanced their field of study, inspired colleagues and trainees, and enriched the research community and beyond with their impact.
