Congratulations to all faculty, staff and trainees on your recent accomplishments and successes.

Timothy Scholl, PhD, assistant professor and scientist at Robarts Research Institute, was renewed as an Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) Investigator for a five-year term. Scholl’s innovations in magnetic resonance spectroscopy incorporate the development and application of novel imaging methods to the study of cellular metabolism, including characterization of tissue pH and sodium concentrations.

Mihai Dumbrava, a fourth-year undergraduate student with the Duennwald Lab, won a highly competitive and prestigious international scholarship for a summer research internship in Switzerland.

Milica Krstic completed her PhD with the Department of Pathology. Her thesis is entitled, “The role of TBX3 in early breast cancer progression.”

Amber Harnett and Ingrid Gan completed their MSc degrees with the Department of Pathology.
