    We would like to congratulate the 2026 Western Gold Medal recipients; Asiba Noori, Eesa Huq, Graydon Chapple, Michael Yoshida, Sharon Chen, Riley Galla, Gabrielle Kunde. The Western Gold Medal is awarded to the student with the highest academic average in an Honours Specialization or Major program at Western University. The department is pleased to recognize seven students for this distinction this year.

  • Dr. Rober Abdo, PhD – 2026 Fellowship Grant Recipient

    Dr. Abdo is a physician-scientist who recently obtained his PhD in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. His research focuses on spatial tumour biology and the mechanisms by which malignant cells remodel the brain microenvironment to support progression and therapy resistance.

  • Pathology Teams Bring Home Hardware at Dragon Boat Festival

    The Pathology Paddlers and Pathology Paddlers Part Deux made a strong showing at this year's Fanshawe Dragon Boat Festival! Pathology Paddlers earned a third-place finish in the C Division Consolation Race, while Pathology Paddlers Part Deux captured second place in the C Division Championship Race, crossing the finish line just 0.44 seconds behind the winning team, the Maple Dragons, in a thrilling photo finish.
