Students working in lab

A postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is an individual who has completed his or her doctoral degree and is involved in full-time research and scholarship. Postdoctoral scholars work under the supervision of a faculty mentor and are encouraged and expected to publish the results of their independent research during the period of their appointment.

Postdoctoral scholars must be registered with the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies at Western University.
