Announcement: New Medical Oncology Program Director named

The Department of Oncology is pleased to announce  the appointment of Dr. Paul Stewart as the new Program Director for the Medical Oncology Residency Program effective July 1, 2021. Paul brings his unique experience as an alumnus of the Medical Oncology Residency & Fellowship program, and through his current educational work completing his Master in Health Professions in Education degree. Both will serve him well in managing the training needs of the program.

We sincerely thank Dr. Kylea Potvin for her dedicated efforts and devotion as Program Director  over the past 12 years. Kylea is an incredible educator and strong advocate in resident education. She has been a trusted advisor and a thoughtful caring mentor to our residents over the years. Dr. Potvin will continue to direct the Division of Medical Oncology, now with more time to pursue her interest in faculty professional development. 

We are excited to welcome Dr. Stewart  to his new leadership role, and grateful for Dr. Potvin's years of service!
